Miss Laurinda - does it all! While she teaches Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary, she is also stage managing, editing music, a spreadsheet queen and shedding a few happy tears during concert season!

Laurinda has trained across Australia; Dance Force, Dream Dance Company, One Dance Collective and Kingdom Culture Company. She has also choreographed for ACTiv Elite Theatre Co and at events including TEDxSydney and for Ubisoft.

Hip hop is one of Laurinda's favourites because of its music, energy and inclusiveness. Contemporary holds a special place in her heart too, thanks to its limitless creativity and athleticism.

She wasn't actually a huge musical theatre fan until she joined ACTiv—but now she is hooked!

Laurinda hopes that each student grows in confidence while learning new skills and creating unforgettable memories. She wants them to always remember why they started dancing in the first place—because it's fun!

She loves ACTiv's welcoming community and believes the studio has found the perfect balance between working hard and enjoying the journey. It's a place where lifelong friendships are made, milestones are celebrated and every student is encouraged to be the best version of themselves.
