Whilst we believe that you are beautiful the way you are, makeup is great way to enhance the look of a performance on stage. In this article, we go through all the basic tools, steps, tutorials and products to help you achieve the perfect stage makeup!

Please note: Only performers in our Intermediate/Senior Concert require stage makeup. All Rugrat, Junior and Elementary performers only require a red lip.

YOUR MAKEUP KIT

Some tools that you can include in your makeup kit, but are not limited too, are:

- Foundation and concealer

- Red lipstick

- Mascara

- Neutral eyeshadow palette

- Blush

- Bronzer

- Eyeliner

- Makeup brushes

STAGE MAKEUP

Applying makeup for concerts is a bit different than every day makeup. All makeup should be heavier so it clear to see from the stage. Here are the steps to achieving the perfect stage makeup:

  1. Apply your base makeup (foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer)

  2. Using a blush brush, sweep a decent amount blush from the top of the cheek up across the top of the cheek bone

  3. Create a smokey eye using neutral/brown tones

  4. Finish off the eye makeup with winged eyeliner, mascara and false lashes (only if capable of applying them)

  5. Finish the look off with a bold red lip
